"I had no Chinese food since before I went vegan and this place really filled a taste I was missing. I'm so sad that I was in St Austell for one night, because the choice was so great that I would have eaten here for a week at night!"

"I was shocked to find that this beautiful hotel has a separate vegan menu for dinner (foto attached.) I was just here for one night, so could not try everything, but I had the tofu to start and the curry for both were exquisite. as good as they would expect from a vegan-only place if not better! brot also comes with vegan butter. service was excellent as they would expect from a beautiful hotel. will definitely return on the basis of eating alone (although the hotel itself is also fab)"

"So my wife 39 weeks pregnant and with the baby completely in position I thought I would follow the old women's history of spicy food to help induce work. if it works well, if not it is another great apology to take away gratitude. the workers were fantastic after they had mentioned the reason for today's meal, they congratulate us and try to help by sending a few free spicy compliments to the order. as usual were the portions large portions and eating was amazing as always. whether it will help bring our children into this world is another thing. recommend this takeaway, which is my favorite piece in st austell."

"This place is part of the parcel for me of going to the Eden Project. The food is fantastic, fresh and authentic to its theming. The service is also really good, even the prices aren't bad when you consider other tourist locations. I had the Paella and even though I have a Spanish partner who can make an amazing Paella this one is a fair rival at its best! The lemon tart is also fantastic and with some cool local fruit drinks to wash them down and the dome as a backdrop it's fantastic and definitely plan this eat out into your trip here!"

"For an attraction that prides itself on promoting climate change, the lack of vegan options is an embarrassment! The guide book says it has a cafe selling vegan meals it only sells cakes. Another only did a vegan pasty, and had other options but not today. In the end I had to settle for a vegan burger as the only “meal” available. If I’d known it was so lacking, I’d have brought my own food. Summary : Great for cakes but not for a proper lunch meal"
