"Super refreshing and relatively cheap, one bowl of shaved ice with toppings can easily feed two people. Not overly sweet, but can always satisfy my sweets cravings :) I love herbal jelly, so we usually get Herbal jelly + tapioca balls + red beans + taro (No. 4 from Herbal series). We also tried red beans + tapioca balls + taro balls, which wasn't bad but the lack of herbal jelly simply doesn't suit my taste. Not a fancy place, but I would come back regularly to have one of the best shaved ice in the city. <br><br><a href="https://www.zomato.com/spoonback?u=http%3A%2F%2Fluna-bento.blogspot.com&amp;r=31062355&amp;to=39173479&amp;k=bba9e23e3839e3afe4f13abd7cb113de" target="_blank"><span class="left red-text">luna-bento.blogspot.com</span><span class="grey-text left ml5" data-icon="ŧ"></span></a>"

"One of the famous Thai foods in Haymarket sell various varieties of the noodle soup with many choices with reasonable prices. My favorite dishes are monding (pork manifolds) and fried rice and the little noodle of the boat treeton."

"The gruff tone of your online booking confirmation email warning that your table will be released if you're more than 15 mins late is a bit disconcerting. But once you survive that this is an experience to be recommended. Pricing seafood by the kg can...also be a bit mysterious if you don't know how much your lobster or fish actually weighs, but the waiter can ell you that your fish is usually between 750g and 1 kg whilst your crabs and lobsters will be between 1 kg and 2 kg. These can be cooked to your preference we had the lobster in garlic butter and te coral trout in soy, ginger and shallot sauce together with a special fried rice and some prawn dumplings. The live seafood is shown to you still wriggling in a plastic bag with your table number on a peg holding the bag closed. It then goes off to the kitchen to be prepared and returns surprisingly quickly to be deboned in front of you and, in the case of the lobster, pre cracked into bite sized pieces with a nutcracker supplied for the legs. On the day we visited the market price for lobster was $138/kg and for Coral Trout $188/kg. Don't let that put you off, especially when you are in a group and are all sharing. Although the food was piping hot the air conditioning was way too cold. Luckily with only a few tables occupied at 7 pm on a Wednesday night I was able to ask for the temperature to be set a little higher but that was theonly thing I could criticise. Of course the quality of the food is what counts and you won't be disappointed here unless you have guests for whom the idea of eating what was shortly beforehand swimming around in a tank is unappealing. Otherwise you could not possibly get fresher fare!"

"Excellent service, delicious food, good atmosphere and a wide variety of food. I like the noodles here mostly because they have the same taste as eating in Thailand. Price is not expensive and is a restaurant that is suitable for everyone, family-style or a group of friends."

"As table of 9 and a part of a conference in the hotel. independent of booking and the fact that there were no other diners it took half an hour to arrive and an hour after sitting we have no food yet. a limited time for lunch as part of a conference and that the restaurant could not accommodate the only patrons of the restaurant was disappointing. restaurant management was by far the worst service we have experienced with the hotel, no apology in the least or our ask. the hotelfront office management was a little apologetic, but until then it was far too late to eat even is hardly worth waiting with lack of effort...read more"
