"Food was delicious, my husband expressed concern over fish not being thoroughly cooked as it was Wahoo and a very thick meaty fish. When he got to the very thickest part it was not cooked thru. It wasn't a lot but he left it on his plate. Other than that everything was delicious. Our waitress was very attentive and sweet. We are waiting impatiently for them to have rabbit on the menu again!!"

"Was passing by and saw the sign for Acai bowls. Decided to try. Excellent bowls lots of choices for toppings. Owner is very friendly. We ate in the dining room which was very comfortable. Menu is breakfast and lunch he has plenty of snack food as well. I know I just had a couple of bowls but the other food has got to be just as good."

"I recently dined at Root in Georgetown, SC, and I'm thrilled to report an exceptional experience. The service was unparalleled – truly some of the best I've encountered since moving to the area 2.5 years ago.As for the food, I indulged in the Shrimp and Grits, a delicious medley of sausage, onions, bell peppers, and fresh local caught shrimp, all luxuriously tossed in a creamy white wine butter sauce over white cheddar grits. Every bite was a celebration of flavor, perfectly balanced and sumptuously satisfying. For $26.00, it's a dish I wholeheartedly recommend.Root has earned a regular spot on my dining rotation, and I'm already looking forward to my next visit!"

"JG the Manager was AWESOME!!! My girlfriend and I were on a time crunch for a show at the Palace theater, and he served us himself! He literally jumped through a booth to rush our order through. Drinks were spot on, food was perfect! Never received service like that at B&A before!! Definitely an asset to the restaurant!!! Cheers!!!"
