"Yesterday, my brother and I visited Wing Kee near the Red Light district in Amsterdam. We were staying in Rotterdam and took a train to Amsterdam Centraal and wanted an affordable restaurant somewhat near the train station. After searching on Google Maps, I found that Wing Kee was about a ten minute walk from Amsterdam Centraal train station. When we arrived at 2pm on the Wednesday, the restaurant was half full. The menu is extensive and is in both Dutch and English and comes with pictures so you can see what you are ordering. We were both quite hungry and ordered the following dishes: 1. Large wonton soup (12,50 euros) the broth and wontons were outstanding, and the bowl is large enough to feed four people. We added chili sauce provided at the table to make the soup spicy. 2. Spring rolls (6 euros) a good option for sharing with two people. Comes with a sweet and sour dipping sauce. 3. Fried rice Yeung Chow style (15 euros) this type of fried rice comes with shrimp, pork and chicken. 4. 3 meat combination platter (16 euros) You can choose from different types of pork, duck, chicken. It arrives slices with a large bowl of white rice. Overall, service was quick and competent and the bathrooms are clean. The location is great, and we had a great afternoon walk after lunch."

"Place to taste the Sichuan dishes. Spicy beef with tofu is authentic enough, with huge quantity. We two girls didn’t manage to finish two dishes. The vegetables are just ok. All in all a nice Chinese restaurant for friends to eat together every now and then."

"Went here last night. Was a huge mistake, we got the thin crust which was literally paper thin. Never saw anything like it. It was cold and dried out like it was cooked the day before. We ordered hot wings, they were regular wings with some hot sauce drizzled over them. The only thing that was remotely good were the cinnamon knots. Waste of money. Will not be eating there again."
