"We came back for dinner at Zipang after a few years, back then we just loved the place. This time the experience was not as good. I have to say that the fish quality is fantastic, but it’s poorly executed. The spicy tuna was overloaded with kimchi, you couldn’t even taste the fish. And I have seen better looking rolls at the supermarket.Right now my stomach and my wife’s are complaining, not sure exactly what went wrong there, but it will take us a long time before we go back."

"Really great service which is SO hard to find these days and the food and cocktails were excellent. The fried chicken was so good and the poke is great too. We were in the corner on the patio in November and while they had the heaters on and gave us blankets it was pretty cold. Not really their fault; next time I 'll make sure to ask for a table in the main restaurant part."

"First and last time I order from this place on Ubereats.It was close to $20 for a large pho, but I thought it would be worth it due to the high reviews on UberEATS. DO NOT BE FOOLED.This entire order was $60, and half of it was a bag of bean sprouts. This honestly feels like a joke and I've never experienced this with any other Pho restaurant.It’s quite the feat, just look at the size of that quarter meatball. But don’t worry, you get three of them in a large pho (if you pay $2 to upgrade .But the most frustrating part is the small noodle portions. Why cheap out on noodles? Noodles cost pennies on the dollar, but here I am inconveniently cooking my own egg noodles because they provided 1/2 an inch of egg noodles in the smallest take out container they could find.I'm at a loss for words to express my disappointment with this restaurant.Stay away._____________________________________________________________UPDATE: Normally I wouldn’t waste my time doing an update, but the restaurant is doubling down on being cheap in their response, so here it is:First, the egg noodles came standard with the beef stew, there was no upgrade requested, check your order notes. And let’s run using your logic, it’s “technically” not a FREE if you give a quarter of the portion. Secondly, listen to yourself nickle and dime NOODLES.I don't care if it’s rice noodles or egg noodles, it’s literally one of the cheapest food items in the world. The portion shown in the picture is what? 10 cents? Would it kill your margins on an $18 pho to add a bit more so people don't have to cook their own food to supplement the small portions?The order total with Uber eats fees, tax, and tip came to basically $60. I can post the receipt. But your point is fair, it was only $47.50 without taxes from the restaurant. But I would argue that even at $47.50, these are unacceptable portion sizes.Which is why this is disappointing, because you can’t see seem to understand why someone would be upset for receiving baby sized portions, when Pho is notorious for large portions. If this your normal sized portion (with Dine-in , then I can truly understand why there are so many other 1 star reviews saying the same thing.I don’t particularly care that UberEATS is expensive, but I like the convenience. It’s just simply really inconvenient to have to cook my own noodles because you couldn’t be bothered to add (10 cents more? worth of noodles.By the way, the salad rolls ARE in the pictures. They are in that tiny brown box.I get it, UberEATS also takes a big cut from your revenues. But when you markup your items 30% to make up the revenues, don’t also reduce portions by 50%, and blame the customer. Would YOU be satisfied with this portion size?At the end of the day, I’ll let the pictures speak for themselves, and let others decide if that’s enough of a portion for them.Kid-friendliness: The large portions are perfect for kids under 5 and infants."

"I would like to extend a massive thankyou to everyone working at your establishment. Not only were your staff extreamly helpful in a bad situation but they even delivered my food to me at my hotel after you closed up for the night just to make sure id be able to get something to eat. They took time out of thier own night off the clock in thier own vehicle all just to make sure id be able to get some dinner when i couldnt get out myself to get it and when a delivery company made some big mistakes and refused to do the job that not only i pay for but so does your reaturant to help your customers get your absolutely amazing food. Honestly it was probably the best food ive ever had in my life. I also have celiacs disease and your staff was amazing about making sure id be ok with the food. Normally food thats gluten free from a resturant that does not have a lot of options for gluten free the food is very bland and boring. Not your place in any way shape or form i may not be able to eat everything you make but what i can have is so amazingly delicious. Thank you so very much for the kindness and consideration your staff provided tonight. They went out of thier way for me and well above and beyond for me and ill never forget it. The food here is amazing and so are the people. I cant thank you enough and cant recommend your resturant enough. Absoult best place in all of calgary."

"Went for date w hubby because we were both craving ramen. Decided to get some appies (special roll tempura). Special roll caterpillar (asparagus, pumpkin, avocado, cucumber, mayo, crunch) had rancid 'crunch ' and was not worth $12. Noodles were overcooked in our ramen. Only one type of cold sake available (but it was very nice). Serving staff were over busy (altho polite) could not keep up with the 12 tables in dining section. Nobody came to address rancid food and still got charged for it. Waited 25 mins for bill that never came. We 've been here for sushi before, had a much better (altho expensive) experience last time."

"Excellent pizza crust chewing gum, crispy, tasty. really enjoyed our two pizzas that were recommended by our server jess gorgonzola prosciutto and ananas was an amazing combo. other pizza flavors were very specific and polarizing would be nice if there were a few smaller options for processing, or the ability to build their own for a more reasonable price; with all surcharges at $3 everyone, it fits pretty fast. I know that substitutionen is also a culinary chef's nightmare, so maybe a few cooking creations added to the menu to choose more? I would definitely return if this gorgonzola pizza remains on the menu yum!"
