"I ate at the battered fish at the Halifax shopping centre food court! What a great surprise, my mother, sister and I all agreed that it was one of the best meals we've ever had! Amazing fresh fish and French fries. I would definitely recommend the beer battered fish and chips!"

"My dinning experience at Finbarr’s was second to none. Not only was the food an absolute masterpiece but it was all topped off with, in my opinion, the absolute best waiter I’ve ever had. He was everything imaginable. He was fast, efficient, and even made my companion tammy a custom mojito, that, in all honesty, should be part of the regular menu. Brad elevated this dinning experience too a completely different level, taking what could have been no more than a normal evening out at a pub and turning it into a five-star extravaganza. 10/10 phenomenal services and undoubtably delicious food too. ~Geoffrey Thompsons’ office"

"We were the first to arrive for Saturday brunch, and I felt like we had star treats. The restaurant itself is very unique and we sat under the glass ceiling. There were fresh flowers scattered over the room that felt like we were at a celebration. Our waitress was very helpful and attentive. I had the lobster Benedict and groundless mimoses, and she was fast with the refills. She was also helpful and showed some things to see in the city. I wish we had another day in Halifax to eat here!"

"Awesome little Vietnamese restaurant on Barrington Street. Had a good bowl of the P9 - pho with beef balls and rice noodles. Great speedy service and staff were super friendly.Came in for an early dinner and was seated straight away. It was quiet - only about 4 other tables of patrons in the restaurant, but I'll put that down to coming in at 5.30pm to have dinner. They have a varied menu with both Chinese and Vietnamese dishes on the menu and decent portion sizes. Lots of people stopping in to collect takeout orders, but the staff were always around refreshing teapots with hot water and asking how the meals are. Prices are good for downtown Halifax."

"Growing up in a small town with a much smaller population than Halifax you would think that the quality would be at least equal to, close to if not better than my small town... Small group decided we would go here for a birthday for the lunch buffet. I was actually looking forward to having this as I am a big fan of their pizza, garlic fingers, chicken tetrazzini, meat balls and rice, Caesar salad, etc. Upon arriving we seen they only had one type of beer on tap, was actually dry ? Beer was replaced in a bottle which was on for the same price but for only having one on tap you'd think they could refill it ? We would have bought pitchers as we usually do rather than all individual glasses but that wasn't an option. We looked past that. Went to the buffet, grabbed plates and I started with the Caesar salad that you could make yourself... No sign of Caesar dressing only ranch. Went on to see for pasta there was only a bit of spaghetti sauce left to put on their dried out pasta noodles, none of their other key items like tetrazzini or meatballs. And we were there for close to an hour and no different types of pizzas were put out and by the end they were dry, not to mention cold. Even after another customer had asked to have a new kind such as a basic meats be put out. I don't feel that if this location has a less than standard buffet they should be charging the same price as other locations who DO in fact have the normal variety of food as seen at other pizza delights. Not to forget to mention I had went to get my plate and I had to grab a fourth one as the first three still had hardened cheese on them... Totally unimpressed with this location, will not be returning..."
