"I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to Arundel castle and gardens. Its such a great place to visit. I loved the smell of the rose while walking around the castle and gardens. I would highly recommend going inside the castle, it is impressive with so much history. However I have to warn you there are lots of stairs to climb once inside the castle. Some stairs are very steep..Inside the castle there's a restaurant, I didn't have time to go to the restaurant so I can't comment on the food. I wanted to see as much as I could before the end of my visit. I will definitely return and spend more time in the gardens"

"We visited The George Inn at Littlehampton for the first time this morning and were not disappointed, When we went in, we had intended to order just coffee. However, we soon decided to order traditional breakfasts. We were told by a pleasant lady that our...breakfasts would be with us in about ten minutes, which they were. They arrived, nicely presented on hot plates. We thoroughly enjoyed the breakfasts and two mugs of latte each,which altogether cost just under We noticed that when the tables were vacated, they were being cleared promptly and cleaned thoroughly. The furniture looked quite new, and the ladies toilet (which is upstairs) was clean and had possibly been redecorated and refitted. We will be back."

"Went today good menu selection of burgers with creative choice of names fillings. Our group were all impressed with tastiness. Good value. All freshly cooked. But it is not fast food so don’t expect that! Seating is on stools and ‘high’ tables. Good friendly and efficient service. Highly recommend"

"Food very disappointing for the price. Only 2 main course choices for gluten free and no deserts except ice cream which I felt was exorbitant£5-50 for 3 tiny scoops of average quality ice cream. I had super salad ,nothing super about it only 2 small cubes of mango, tiny pieces of asparagus, couple of broad beans on a mound of watercress and leaves, chicken was over cooked!!! Other meals in our party, lamb was tough, lasagne salty, schnitzl hunters chicken average, severe lack of vegetables too. All in all, only company and love on our table made it enjoyable. Don't think we'll be back."

"Just dropped in on spec whilst walking between Arundel and Shoreham. They found us (me and dog) a table and served up a perfectly decent Club sandwich in the time it took me to order and consume two pints of their hoppy and delicious Gun...Bitter. Barstaff and punters were friendly and happy to see paws as well as footfall. If I am ever in the area, I will certainly return and if, in the meantime, I can persuade any like-minded plodder to drop by, then that would be great."
