"Das Essen ist sehr fein und einfach ausgezeichnet. Die Geschmackskomponenten zu den einzelnen Gerichten sind kaum zu übertreffen, sehr edel in der Darstellung und intensiv im Abgang. Jedes Essen, jedes Gericht ist himmlisch und mit ganz viel Liebe zum Detail zubereitet. Es ist eine wahre Gaumenfreude in Aspen in der Alpstube zu essen. Ein absolutes Must have hier essen zu gehen."

"We ate lunch here and had a decent lunch, but certainly nothing special. Soups were good, other food was decent. Service was slow. There were flies in the restaurant that were irritating, and when we asked to move away from the front of the restaurant to get away from the flies, they were accommodating but made their displeasure known."

"So first, here are the positives, the views from the top of the mountain are awesome.It does take quite some time to get to the top of the mountain. The tour allows 2 hours at the top of the mountain so deduct that from the total tour and now you can see the travel time. We spent 9 hours on trains and busses getting there. Once there, the place was mobbed with people to the point it was like Disney World crowds. The tour was nice but don't go on the tour with a guide, go on your own as the guides rushed us through the ice palace and the peak of the mountain. Hint, take some snacks with you or pay awful prices for water, food or anything else.Overall an awesome experience to see the beauty but man it's not the Americans that are rude. I could not believe other people that pushed, shoved and ran."

"Tres mauvaise expérience dans cet hotel, très cher (150 CHF)moquette viellotte un peu partout et malodorante, odeur de graillon dans la salle a manger, chambre datant des années 70 et bruyante le petit déjeuner est réduit a sa plus simple expression avec un café tiède, un petit pain décongelé et de la confiture industrielle en mini pots plastique.totalement impersonnel et donnant l'impression d'un dortoir. De toutes façons la visite de la JungFrau étant faites, ils ont tout le temps du touriste frais et donc se moquent éperdument de la qualité de l'accueil. A vous dégouter de la Suisse"

"That was our favorite restaurant that we visited for so many reasons in grindelwald. first the food was excellent - the pasta carbonara rivaled what we had eaten in itals and was so unforgettable and delicious! the staff was also friendly and helpful, it had the feeling of a family restaurant on the best wise. regarding the customer service, I had accidentally left my bag on the place next to me in the restaurant and only recognized the next morning. I have advised because it had important documents in it since we were on the international road, but we called and asked if they had my bag. they had actually secured my bag and had it ready for me when I arrived in perfect condition and with everything still intact. I was so grateful for her honesty and integrity!"

"It is written outside : best fondue in town ...actually, the poorest raclette place in Grindelwald...so do not go there to taste swiss specialities ! Service is not good and food is not nice and tasty...our dishes were even dirty ! Avoid it..."

"My wife and I dropped by this place after going to First to grab something to eat. We ordered their salad with their very own special dressing. Price is reasonable and the serving was big. It's a good place to unwind and relax. It's very quiet and cozy."

"I had the Cheese Fondue with bacon and potatoes and a nice Pinot Noir from the Vlais region for lunch. Exceptional!First night I had their very good entrecote steak covered with bacon slices and a ham puree smothered in a red sauce served with mashed sweet potatoes and veggies with a glass of nice Merlot.Second night they were closed. But hey, everybody deserves a day off, right? Third night I had the Rosti at the restaurant. Superb! They offered great breakfast of meats, cheeses, yogurt, breads, juices and coffee every morning.Awesome food. P.S. The hotel offers the best views in Grindelwald, by the way! Get a superior room with stunning views and enjoy the incredible food downstairs. You can thank me later;)..."
