"Had a good friend here to his birthday on the end of februar and loved it so much that in the last week have been twice back to eat there! it is a cozy little facility with a really friendly atmosphere, waiter service is fantastic and eating is amazing! the buffet menu is really good value for money and eating is delicious and they will certainly not come away feeling hungry! a real gem of a restaurant in andover! 5*"

"The food was appalling it made my partner be sick and I was sick on the way home too the lemon chicken was pink in side and the crispy duck was freezing cold I would never go back there again it’s disgusting and vile I...would not recommend going there and the staff are very rude and un helpful"

"Very nice food, me and my wife attended on a Saturday afternoon, couldn't fault any of the food and left happy, but slightly out of pocket. Might not afford a family visit, two mains, two starters, coke and sparkling water and one desert, £69. But I would still pay for good food and would go again."

"It was intimate and perfect in the restaurant, the personal we were cared for was a really nice round person who could not have been better at his work. I have worked my whole life in retail and I appreciate the skills of people who need to make others feel comfortable and he did this wonderfully good. would recommend it anyway, in which did already to several people, and will be asap again."

"I was given a voucher as a birthday present which was a great idea. It is very tastefully decorated and made me feel relaxed and pampered. The little gift shop in the foyer sold useful things eg socks and tasteful Christmas decorations. The staff were welcoming and friendly. The toilets were clean well stocked and smelt lovely. They even had hand cream. The afternoon tea was huge and consisted of 4 different types of delicious sandwich one of which the staff happily changed when we said we didn't eat fish,and 4 different cakes then a scone. The only thing I would change is that the scone was too big as we ate that after the sandwiches and were too full up to eat all the cakes. However we were given boxes to take the remainder away in so could prolong our enjoyment at home. We came from Salisbury for this experience and if I had realised the barn was in the middle of the countryside I would have brought some walking boots and gone for a walk in the nearby woods. I enjoyed it here and will return."

"A huge disappointment. The place was almost empty apart from one old man at the bar with his even older spaniel. After about five minutes, a man in a t shirt with staff on he back appeared and said Yes? We asked about lunch and were told it was being served Pick up a menu as you go through . It was tipping down outside or we would have left then, but we risked it. Every single thing on the menu was obviously microwaved, and there was no smell of food, no welcome, no chef or other staff unless you count the chap who switched the microwave on and off,no other customers except four bikers who only ate vast quantities of chips,and when our (completely under cooked) whitebait arrived it wasn 't even hot. We were both ill afterwards, This has been for years and years the most wonderful pub and restaurant, our go to place for cosseting and comfort, and it was my husband 's 80th birthday. If you are anther former regular, we would urge you to think again."
