"Helen's egg rolls are absolutely amazing!!! I mean the next level desire worthy!! I tried my first riverbend egg roll today after years of my husband to save her!! We were in the Osgoode area and near TheRiverbend, “Helens Place”, as I know. Roy asked if you wanted an egg roll? Honestly, I don't always like her so that I've answered so hesitantly well. I have changed my mind now!! These egg rolls are amazing!! I mean, I've never tasted anything like that, the crispy, the hearty taste from inside! Top all with the best plum sauce I've ever tasted!! There's only something about this one that lets you stretch more and more!!!"

"I had a combo platter last week and was extremely disappointed. The rice was over cooked and Bland. The chicken balls were tough, and the veggies were also over cooked. I'm usually not one to complain but it was not good ."

"Ordered online to pick up on my way home. Arrived 10 minutes before my pick-up time and the food was already on the counter waiting for me; no idea how long it was sitting there. Nothing was terrible, but nothing was particularly flavourful either. There's...much better Chinese takeout in the neighbourhood. I won't be going back."

"Lai Lai has lost his touch, Crispy Beef was soggy, Singapore Vermicelli had pork chips, but very few shrimps, chicken roast rice was far too small, and chicken balls and sauces were served in foam containers, in 2019 these should be completely prohibited. Service...delivery was excellent. We'll use Wings from now on."

"My favourite Chinese takeout was closed for some holiday time - very upsetting - so I had to get my order from elsewhere. My Google research showed Country Place as the closest to home, seemed reasonably priced, had the menu online, offered free fried rice with a minimum $38.00 order - no problem since we were 6 for dinner - and had a decent review. We were able to closely duplicate the dishes that we were used to, including Cantonese Chow Mein, Buddah's Delight (a mixed veggie assortment with tofu), General Tsao's, a beef and broccoli dish, chicken with mixed vegetables, and something else which I can't remember. The quality was very good all around, especially the beef and broccoli, although in general, I felt that the vegees were a bit over cooked. While the free fried rice was included, it was a bit surprising that plain steamed rice was not. 6 dishes for the six of us plus one (small) egg roll each was just right, with only a bit of leftovers. I would indeed go back to Country Place, should my local takeout have the nerve to be closed again !! Please note that any additional comments are based strictly on takeout, and not eat in."

"They ordered from here a few times and were not disappointed. I didn't dare too deep into the menu, stick with standard American Chinese dishes (fang balls, General Tao, crispy beef, etc.. Which means any dish I had was a generous... share, fresh, tasteful and what seems like good meat and ingredients. Would recommend to anyone who lives in the West to look for a delivery of Chinese."
