"You have to eat here. We did! We regularly drive to Peterborough to enjoy this great brew pub. What delicious food and delicious beer and friendly service! And reasonable prices. Once we had the weekend special: a lamb and chickpeas vindaloo in a mid-season Indian curry sauce. Delicious! This time we had pizzas. Fuck! This pub has a wide selection of very good ales; enough to please every palate. My favorite is the Square Nail Pale Ale. And yes, after dinner, I bought some of her shop next door to take home and enjoy. It was worth the ride!"

"We ordered from here today and the food wasn't the best. Next to no sauce on the food, egg rolls were extremely soggy and greasy. I was hoping for better as most of the reviews are good! Unfortunately won't be ordering from here again!"

"We were on our way to Buckhorn Lake and were famished! It was mid afternoon and by the time we decided to stop we had passed all of the restaurant going north on the 115. Finally in the distance we see a restaurant and pull over. We all looked at eachother - "A Chinese restaurant in the middle of no where?!?" In we went. Restaurant is dated but very clean. Service was wonderful and friendly, we were made to feel very welcome. We ordered hot and sour soup, egg rolls, sweet and sour chicken balls (not my choice by the way) and beef with broccoli. The food was EXCELLENT! We are now making that our lunch destination when travelling up north. Do not hesitate to give this place a try - the local have it good! I do believe they have a weekend brunch."

"We went to the Bamboo Restaurant for a family birthday celebration and I could not have been more disappointed. At 6 pm many of the trays had dried out food (actually thought I had a piece of onion but it was an entire water chestnut dried beyond recognition) or the trays were almost empty and it took our entire meal for them to be even partially refilled. As a person who eats primarily vegetables I was disgusted with the greasy options provided. While we appreciated the friendliness and attentivenss of our server, who tried her best to improve our situation, and the complimentary birthday dinner voucher I would not recommend this restaurant. This price is reasonable for the amount of food dishes and desserts available but if you are looking for any healthy, cooked options or tasty food go somewhere else."

"I've been looking a long time for a good place that offers amazing Chinese food. And SOOO glad I decided to order from here last night. The rice was amazing and not salty like other places. The chicken balls were cooked to perfection and not dripping with grease, and finally I found a spot that offers general Tao with a kick although it could be more spicy) the chop suey vegetable) was perfect and wasn't salted with a waiting heart attack. Will definitely be back. Not to mention, the customer service was amazing.Thank you chef ?"

"My husband and I tried the food for the first time... now I wonder why we waited so long to try it! Honestly the best Chinese food we have ever had. Excellent portion sizes, hot and fresh when we picked our order up! We must have gotten lucky cuz the wait was only 20 minutes for pick up! Once you try the food you won't order anywhere else!"
