"This local establishment is close to where I live, so I am able to visit it frequently, which I do, for both lunch and dinner, solo or with friends and family. Their cooking is mostly basic Cantonese style light stir fries, solid noodle and rice dishes paired with roast pork, chicken, beef and shrimp mains. All cooked to order so everything comes out fresh and crisp. They also have a bar, which serves reasonably priced drinks."

"Anne, the owner of this establishment, is an angel. Just the nicest person you’ll ever meet. The first time I was here, I asked if they could make beef satay wraps instead of shrimp which, without any complaint, she did. Three months later I was back (my schedule was mostly nights and at the time I lived further away) and as soon as I walked in, she asked if I wanted the same thing as before. And she remembered what it was! Amazing. The soup has a velvety smoothness to the broth. The noodles are done to perfection. The wraps are generous in size and the service quick and friendly. They even did renovations and it still feels like a real Vietnamese restaurant, not overly done up but still really nice, which I like. Everything here is so good, it’s like a second home. I’ve brought lots of friends here and everyone loves it here. Check it out if you haven’t already. You will NOT regret it!"

"I’ve had pretty great food from Not Just Noodles under new management so far. I can see why some old customers might find issues with the price tag, but what isn’t getting more expensive post-COVID? Portion size hasn’t been an issue for me. I ordered sweet and sour chicken and fried beans. The former lasted me two dinners and the latter lasted two dinners and one breakfast. That meal came out to be about $28 after tax. I don’t think it was that outrageous."
