"Fantastic range of Gluten free Forfar is famous for its Bridies but should also be famous for Purdys Coffee House. Lot's of homemade gluten free options, the pancakes and homemade jam were particularly delicious. So if you are in Forfar make sure you stop in here... you won't be disappointed"

"If they like their coffee strong, this is the place for them, best we had one. the skorn was light and fluffy and had a roll and llorne with a fried egg dopper and it was huge. the staff was very friendly and watched them move tables to get a stroller and take time to make sure that a wheel chair enter and then look good. superb!"

"We stopped here for breakfast yesterday, what a fantastic breakfast. Hot, fresh, tasty, thick bacon, yummy sausages, We received a greeting when we entered and a thank you when we left. It would be easy to miss this diner due to it being slightly set back and accessed by a single track road but my advise if you get chance stop for breakfast."

"Lovely breakfast with the family. Staff were welcoming and took details for track and trace, menu clearly written on the wall. Everything fresh and made to order 2 bacon rolls, scrambled egg on toast and hot drinks. Staff couldn't have been nicer and regularly asked if we wanted or needed anything more. Definately worth a stop if your passing through"

"On arrival at The Castle Club we were met by a member of staff who showed us to our table which had been pre-booked. He immediately asked us if we would like drinks and took the order which was served very promptly. He then gave us the menu and advised us of the day's specials. We were given ample time to peruse the menu and make our choices. We chose the following- Steak Pie with Chips, Mini Grill with Roast Potatoes, Silverside with Chips and 2 Chicken Specials with Roast Potatoes. All were delicious as shown by all the plates being empty when the waiter came to clear the table. 2 of us had sweets- 1 an Apple Sponge with Custard, Cream Ice Cream and 1 Banana Fritters with Hot Syrup and Ice Cream. We all then had coffee accompanied by shortbread rounds. Everything was excellent and as one of our party used to own and run a restaurant, he said he couldn't have had better value anywhere else. He has been many times before, but two of our party hadn't been before and they were very impressed. We will all certainly return."
