"In Lismore for the day we did a quick sortie around the CBD looking for a suitable lunch venue. Strolling along we noticed Blueys Cafe which looked like an inviting prospect. Having perused the fare on offer I opted for the Special of the day...which was a Reuben sandwich and the endearing one opted for the Buttermilk dredged deep southern fried chicken breast burger. Our hostess was most delightful, friendly and engaging a rarity in this day and age. Service was swift and soon we were tucking into our respective offerings. The Reuben was nothing short of flat out super delicious with a generous serve of corned beef and associated filling all topped with a most flavourful mustard sauce dressing. My companion was glowing with platitudes stating that in the whole of her existence that she had never experienced such stupendously delicious chicken burger...ever! The whole lunch deal further sweetened with a very reasonable, sensibly priced parting of the Oxford scholars...under 10 for each. Great value and highly recommended."

"I visited for an early breakfast. This is a bustling little cafe with an extensive blackboard menu. I choose the Breakis Burger. What a surprise this was. The egg was cooked in the style of a Spanish Omelet and served with crispy bacon and green leaves. Excellent.The coffee was exceptional and several different coffee beans were available.The coffee was made by a skilled barista and served by a friendly helpful staff. A visit to Lismore without a coffee at Benchtop Espresso would be a wasted trip. I look forward to a visit for lunch soon."
