"It's a decent coffee shop in front of the Shinkansen Gates in Nagano Station. They offer hot sandwiches in addition to the usual coffee shop drinks. It can get really busy and crowded, but was a decent place to rest out of the cold while waiting for our train. In January 2013 they were offering a premium pudding that was really good. Try it if you have a chance!"

"Have soy milk for coffee matcha! Staff spoke English quite well so I was able to communicate what I could and couldn't have they were very accommodating! The seating is traditional Japanese (on the floor) with little tables! Heaps of charging outlets and wifi too, so an excellent spot to wind down after a long day of monkey spotting!"

"The best place in Nagano for Tonkotsu Shoyu noodles pork born soup with soy source. Salty, fatty and thick soup with noodles are great. Two kind of grilled pork are available: pork libs or hams, both are lobely tastes anyway. Ticket vending machine is available, no English menu, no parking lot, counter only. No credit card payment is acceptable, but PayPay is okay."

"A really good Yakiniku restaurant. Had all the meat we had and had an English menu. The All-you-can-eat option is worth the spent money and you have 90min without restrictions. Along with everything you drink, it was worth ¥5000 per person. We wouldn't hesitate to go again!"
