"I wouldn't recommend it. eating was nothing special. steak should be medium-heavy, came more rare than medium-heavy. seabass was tasteless. service. far away from good. every question had to be repeated only a few times, as they did not. still waiting for ketchup. only positiw we had a nice table, but noise level was bad because of younsters. groups of 17-19 years. I doubt that restaurant has dress code."

"This is a lovely cafe for traditional English food. The waiting staff are friendly and attentive. The hot dishes come to the table steaming. The cakes are fresh. The prices are reasonable. It is a cafe rather than a restaurant and I don’t think it is licensed. The table are quite close together as it is very popular. Beware it is not open on Monday Tuesday and Wednesday."

"Popped in here when visiting the town and were more than happy with the service and food. My wife had the Tuna Mayo Baguette with myself having the Panini with similar filling. When they were delivered, the first thing that was noticeable was the good...amount of filling in each. To accompany, we had a bowl of chips which was again, a good portion. I would guess they were frozen fries but were crispy thin and really done to a tee. Lovely. Our drinks (tea and coffee) were excellent and a good tasty coffee it was. Nice little place. Nothing startling but a good choice for a snack."
