Today, I had the pleasure of visiting this charming cafe with my aunt and cousin for the first time. I was disappointed to learn that it is up for sale, but I hope that someone will take over this popular spot loved by both tourists and locals. The food is all fresh and homemade. We enjoyed carrot and coriander soup, cheese omelette with salad, and Eggs Benedict, all of which were delicious. Save room for one of their tempting homemade cakes. The cafe has a friendly, cozy atmosphere and we give it top marks.
The food at this restaurant is truly homemade and delicious, with generous portion sizes. I will definitely miss it when the two wonderful ladies retire.

This is a lovely cafe for traditional English food. The waiting staff are friendly and attentive. The hot dishes come to the table steaming. The cakes are fresh. The prices are reasonable. It is a cafe rather than a restaurant and I don’t think it is licensed. The table are quite close together as it is very popular. Beware it is not open on Monday Tuesday and Wednesday.
Fantastic fabulous home cooked food and very nice owners. The macaroni was lovely. South a shame will be closing.
