"The ambient is very friendly as soon as you first walk in. They attend to you immediately. Took us a while for us to choose between if we could do breakfast or lunch since we arrived around 1030 and lunch starts at 11am. One of us opted for a breakfast burrito which was more of a very large taco. It was a very thick flour tortilla. And she got full with just half of it. 2 of us ordered the mixed fajita quesadilla which was 2 flour tortillas with melted cheese, chicken and beef. They were fulfilling. We only were able to eat half before we were full. We decided on taking this food to go. I would put this restaurant more as a tex Mex type food. Everything was clean, people were nice and food was decent."

"Great tex mex and great service. if they are looking for enchiladas, this is the place to go. nothing imaginative, but a great reliable service makes this a solid option for Mexican food on the island. They only have about any type of enchilada they can think of, and I will be back to try them all."

"Real Mexican food. Eat with locals. It might not be for everyone but I love it. Back in the 60's, 70's and 80's the building was Thrifty Liquor. In the back was the best sporting goods selection in Galveston county. Bought all our guns, rods and reels here. Just a little trivia..."
