"This was terrible. Not only was the service poor, the wait time was almost an hour for basic fish and chips. The quality of the food was also very poor, so if you are after fish and chips, keep walking further south along the waterfront to the other places."

"4.5 stars. Calamari, and grilled whiting snapper were awesome! Chips were ok, not fantastic, which is why lose .5 star. Doug's place has a great atmopshere and the queues show how popular the food is. In a great spot, where you can walk across the road to sit by the beach at sunset!"

"Food is always great, tasty but it’s really expensive for what it is (tavern food) Also food service is a bit slow. Not good if you’re in a hurry or have kids with you."
