"Lovely portion of fish and chips with curry sauce bought on a whim on way home from work. Chips were cooked just right and fish was extremely tasty with a slice of lemon. Cooked to order so can't really go wrong. No pic cos it didn't stay on the plate long enough!"

"I had the pork belly and although that was okay, the pork scratchings were inedible. Also, I had to ask for the accompanying green beans, which didn't arrive until I'd almost finished. They shouldn't have bothered, as there was only 6. The atmosphere is good and the pub is very dog friendly. If you want standard pub food, then this place will be right up your street. It is what it is."

"Shame as food all freshly cooked and waited 10-15 mind which I didn't mind as would be nice. Medium cod and medium chips fish was very small and fish skin to thick couldn't eat it.. chips were quite nice. .. it's a shame as not as good as Karen Plaice in Lee they are still the best... shame really as very polite girls working there.."
