"Dropped in for a quick and easy breakfast before hitting the road...probably some of the best fried eggs and waffles to be had. Staff were couteous, attentive and prompt in taking order, keeping coffee mugs filled and in providing the bill. Excellent no frills breakfast when you need to hit the road."

"I have eaten here several times and have often been critical of the food. A lot has changed, however, based on the past 3 visits. The burgers are huge; fires are hot and crispy; the flatbread pizza is excellent. My wife had a quesadilla which was 'soggy' so I can't give it 5 stars. But, overall, a big improvement over past visits."

"The outdoor tables work so well when there are little ones with you. They were busy at the playground. The serving at the tables instead of going inside was a big improvement. Our server was polite and efficient. The portions were generous and the food was delicious."

"We asked to have a half or smaller portion of the seafood Cobb salad and was declined. This is a very large portion and not easy to take home too soggy. The Qualicum Beach inn gives small portions for the same salad with better seafood."

"Both of us wonderful seafood dinners here. I had scallops and pasta in a light cream sauce. Best ever, so tender and cooked perfectly. Pinot Grigio wine, and key lime pie to finish. Friendly efficient service. We suggest reservations as it is not a big place. But a gem."
