"So disappointed. A lovely warm summer evening so decided to eat outside but there was a terrible sewage smell. We tried 3 different tables in different parts of the garden but we still got it so to eat out there was out of the question. We hope this is a temporary thing as we love it here and with the summer just starting. We went inside to eat , the food was ok but the smell put a damper on what should have been a super evening."

"Stayed in Slough over a weekend to visit Legoland. Read a few reviews and decided to visit here for dinner. With no expectations other than to have a simple chippy dinner (2 adults/2 children), we were greeted with a very busy shop. The queue was nearly out of the door (which is always a good thing). We wanted to eat in (there is 4 tables towards the back). We asked and were told to take a seat and someone would be over. Alternatively you could queue up, order and then take a seat. Our order was taken and the food arrived some 10 mins later. The fish was excellent. Batter was light and tasty, not at all heavy or greasy. The chips were piping hot and a generous portion. The tartare sauce was fab too. The kids meals are excellent value for money at around £4 for main, chips and a drink. Excellent quality food, great value and service."

"Great service, and a nice back garden to relax in on a sunny day. Food was okay. Beef Burger was overcooked. The fish and chips was nice, but the chips were not great. I would come back for drinks."

"Obviously overcooked but they still served it. Previously stopped buying the chips as they were so poor and often only lukewarm but were ok this time. Went back after a long absence as it's a convenient location but will now look elsewhere."
