"Visited here Friday night with some friends. They have a special appetizer menu on Friday nights from 9pm to midnight. Plentiful dishes and half price, different than their tapas nights, and some dishes you can only get Friday nights. We shared and enjoyed buffalo cauliflower, tempura green beans, greek fries and crab dumplings. Along with pitchers of their homemade sangria, we had a fabulous evening. Very reasonable pricing. Great music. Great service. A fun environment. Highly recommend!"

"As locals my wife and family and I go here regularly. The food is pretty good and the daily specials are good value. Bar staff and servers are usually good too. But on a recent visit we had a most miserable young woman who didn't crack a smile the whole time. A few of our group have restaurant experience and we all agreed she should have taken the day off. It wasn't that busy so no excuse there. A friendly server can make up for other flaws like wrong orders and food and drink delays."

"The wife and I as well as another couple ate here while in the area for a regatta. We walked in and the place was dead; however, we were given prompt service with good food and good drinks. A good place and I would come back."

"We stayed overnight in the King room#1 and had the meals included option. The room was clean and comfortable with good sitting for 2. Arrival was fine except to note that signs are lacking and the gate is easy to miss in the dark. We...had no issue as we were there before. Check-in was easy (pre-booked) and staff were warm and friendly. Room was ready and we settled in. Weather was unpleasant so we didn’t go hiking as planned but sat in room talking and reading. Couple of small items like having to ask for extra coffee and wine glasses cost the 5th star. Supper went very well. My wife has the scallop starter and I had the lobster-shrimp pate. Both were very good. Mains of the salmon dish and the rack of lamb (very generous serving) were also very good. Service and very good and very friendly. Again small comment that the second and younger server had his shirt untucked and a departed couple’s table took a long time to clear. Desert was cheese plate for both of us. Nice selection of cheeses and toast (homemade) and fruit made a very nice end to the meal. Wine list is extensive and a bit on the expensive side but. Some wine is available by the glass the there is an excellent Malbec for $39-very good deal. Breakfast was also very good except to note that the re-constituted grapefruit juice was a bit sweet and better when mixed with my orange juice. We both had the smoked salmon and Inn made bagels with a nice fruit bowl. All in all very good and with a few changes would be 5 star. Well worth the trip to St. Mary’s either on its own or as a base for Stratford plays."

"Great sandwiches made fresh in front of you as you like them and include garnishes, deserts available too. They have frozen entrees to take home for dinner also as well as a large selection of cheeses. They can be very busy right at the lunch...hour so go a little off the peek time and you'll get out faster. Friendly wait staff."

"Had dinner with three friends and the bill was over 100 bucks, before tip, for fish and chips. The food was fine and the portions were okay. The table / chairs / and the menu all were sticky and needed a good cleaning. The dinners came at the same time as the salads - and we never saw the waitress again until we waved someone else for the cheque. Lots of other places for fish and chips - We will be checking some of them out."

"I have never written an online review, positive or negative, but I feel this needs to be said as a public service! This was the WORST meal my husband and I can ever remember having. We were staying at the hotel and a large party of us came to the restaurant to eat. Our waitress, while polite, was extremely scattered; mixing up orders and drinks from the first tray. We had to chase her down 20 minutes later to order a second drink and I had to finally ask another server for my glass of water. My husband and I shared a few appetizers - the Asian platter, calamari, and Caesar salad. There is nothing good to say about any part of our meal. The calamari were rings and obviously mass produced frozen fair. As well, our "Asian Platter" of appetizers looked suspiciously like M&M's Asian appetizers. They were awful. The Caesar salad had brown lettuce in it and the creamy dressing was horribly thick, goopy and made the lettuce terribly soggy. Our waitress never returned to our table at any point after our meals arrived to check on quality, needs or if we wanted another drink, coffee/tea, or dessert. We flagged her down once again in order to pay for our soggy $13 dollar Caesar salad and frozen medley. We were not the only ones in our party whose dinner was sub-standard. Two members of our group ordered the ribs and couldn't eat them - the plus side - the restaurant did remove them from their bill. Know that we are simple southern Ontario people what live in a small rural community and are easily pleased but this was the most disappointing dining experience we have had."
