"Oh man, there's nothing I can say about this place that hasn't been said already. This restaurant has always been one of my go to places, between the beer selections and menu choices, you can't go wrong. This past Friday I ordered fish and chips for our family of four, which includes some picky eaters. There was a short wait at pickup time, which was OK because I had a great conversation with other customers waiting for their orders. I had ordered four, two piece meals and the portion sizes did not disappoint, the pieces of fish were quite large and there was a ton of chips. The fish was not greasy, the batter was light and crispy and so tasty. And what they couldn't finish at dinner, they finished for breakfast the next day. This was another great meal from this place and is why I keep coming back. I am so glad the Whale and Ale was not another casualty of the pandemic, keep up the great work everyone!"

"Visiting Kitchener, we always love going to Williams Pub. My wife loves this place however on this visit, we were disappointed. We usually go to the University St. location, but this one was on our way out so we stopped by. We arrived at 8:20 am and it opened at 8 so we were one of the first one's in. I ordered a Classic Breakfast while my wife ordered waffles. It seemed to take longer than usual to get our food as we sat in the quiet restaurant ( about 6 other people were there) . I was able to see the cook area, and saw my breakfast being put up and the bell rung. Two waitresses walked by and left the food there on the warming tray. When I saw one of the girls washing some glass near the counter, I decided to get my plate myself, hoping my wife's food would be ready soon. I was almost done eating when I noticed someone beginning the waffles. Finally the waffles arrived with an apology but I was done my plate, so I had to watch my wife eat. The food was good though my wife thought there should have been more berries on her waffle. Not our usual experience at a Williams Pub, so we will return but maybe not at this location."

"Went out with another couple. They were quite busy but our waitress was outstanding. Caesar salads, escargot, beef wellington, calamari, spicy shrimp, salmon were all great from what I tasted and could see. I had their Chicken Madeira which was moist and the sauce was...great."

"This appeared to us as the largest size Moose Winooski in the chain with more seating and more patios than elsewhere. Very up to date ambiance and openness feeling, tables not being squished together like most roadhouses. Hostess was friendly and sat us immediately. Our Fish and Chip entrees were well presented with very nicely sized pieces of fish, lightly battered and nice and crisp. Fries were excellent - hot an mealy. Menu prices offered very good value. Our server Michelle was excellent. Friendly, helpful, always keeping an eye from afar on our table to be sure we always had our refill drinks without having to look for her to order. Very glad we came here."
