"So sad. We have been coming here for years for the excellent brunch and lunch menu. Great food in a wonderful location close to the best beach in Santa Cruz. But they have stopped serving all menu food! Now only pastries and burritos. What a bummer."

"The lunch menu rotates every two week with different theme from Italian, French, Asian to American. Most ingredients such as bread, soup, entree and dessert are prepared fresh by chefs and training students. The set menu is reasonably priced between $10 and $15, which includes salad, bread, soup and your choice of entree. No reservation is needed for the lunch time but is highly recommend for dinner service."

"My friend was running about minutes late and no one asked me if I wanted to start with a drink while sitting at our table. We each ordered soup and only one arrived. The server did comp the bread for this mishap which was generous. While the food was tasty, the service was lacking for the amount of money spent on the overall meal. Wine pours for a glass were pretty meager. Not worth the price in my opinion and overall a slightly above average experience."

"We had lunch here on Valentine's Day last year, with our toddler daughter tagging along. The staff was very sweet to her, and went out of their way to make her feel special during our date. The food itself was excellent, even with it being a busy holiday. I had the sparrow salad and a sandwich, my husband had the special, and they made our little one some pasta. The decor is cute too. Very French farmhouse antique, with pastel colors."
