"Took my family to Mitsuwa Market last weekend to go shopping for some Sushi grade tuna, salmon and other items to take a first time stab at making homemade sushi. Everything we got from the store in the way of sushi items were fantastic tasting and fresh and my one daughter and I spent Sunday afternoon making sushi for everyone to eat. We will be back here next time when the sushi making bug bites us again. We also had lunch there as a family and we all had some ramen at Santouka. I had the spicy ramen which was absolutely one of the best spicy ramen dishes I have had in a long time. Fresh ingredients, spicy but not overpowering to the point where it takes away from the dish. I ate every last morsel of food and bit of broth. I can't wait to go back there with the family again!!! Such a wonderful local place for shopping and grabbing a bite to eat!"

"The food was delicious. It looked like a run down restaurant. It is connected to a hotel,which looks like it was a big deal once. It looked like the manger was the waiter, and no other staff was there. It took 25 mins for our 1st course and we whereserved our sodas in a plastic cup and the food on China. The rugs where dirty, the stable was sticky. There was only a table of4 and then a table of six,and me and my husband. a couple of people here and there. Wait way to long for our food. Will not beback"

"I read the reviews, and it makes me wonder, did they pay for ones to make these comments? My daughter and granddaughters and I went there this morning, and 1) the omelets were well over cooked, therefore dry, no hash browns come with the omelets. 2) The hot cakes were not hot but cold. 3) we did not get our food at the same time. And I paid 75.00 for this?? This was in Arlington Hts. I live in Woodridge, and they have many more much better restaurants than here on the NW side. Will never go again!! Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3"
