"We enjoyed the food here very much. The service was good, fast and friendly. Our only complaint is that we had a groupon and there were 4 of us with one. We could not sit at one table and could only use one groupon. We...just ordered the food to go, used our groupons and went to the park at the beach. Great day!! We will go back!"

"Love going to Jim's for lunch! It is always quick and the service is fantastic. Jim and Jo are the owners and really make you feel like you ar having dinner at their home! Everything is homemade and the Egg's Benedict is honestly the best...I have ever tasted! The Fatoush Salad is amazing and so is the cluhouse and all breakfast items and they serve breakfast all day!"

"Kingsville Golf and Country Club is not just a beautiful golf course, it is also a great place to have a meal. The expansive dining room offers a lovely view of the golf course. It has a full bar with plenty of cold beer to enjoy after a hot 18. Chef Corey takes pride in preparing a variety of delicious meals. I enjoy the fish or steak but the veal looks good too. My server, Amy, was very attentive and came with a welcoming smile. Many people come here to eat even if they are not golfing. It’s that good. On Friday they have a fish fry (Yum) and on Saturday they have a prime rib special. If you are out on the wine tour, visiting Kingsville or just looking for a great place to eat, treat yourself to a delicious meal at Kingsville Golf and Country Club dining room. "The food was good. But it was not busy at all when I went, and the service was one of the slowest I've ever witnessed. It took FOREVER to just get a quesadilla. The server just kept forgetting about us."

"There's nothing pretentious about Vernon's. It's simply a neighborhood bar and grill. However, with a house made roll and patty, Vernon's has an awesome charbroiled hamburger; and with a fresh cold draft, and onion rings seconds from the fryer, I couldn't ask for anything more.Service was friendly, helpful (she recommended the K-burger) and quick."

"We visited one of the wineries and had the perch tacos from Blackjack Gastrovan and they we fabulous! Pelee Island Winery with the music, great food and accompanied with a reasonable priced glass of wine was the making of a great summer afternoon."

"My Husband and I had dinner at Mettawas, to celebrate our anniversary. The food was delicious and servings are generous. I had the lamb rack which easily could be shared (and I did!) while my Husband chose chicken parmigiana. Both were served with green beans and potatoes. These mains include a soup or green salad, starter, though we paid an extra $4 to have the French onion soup (- surprised that supplement is so high, as there's only $2 difference between it and other soups if chosen from the menu). I don't know why there are no prices shown for cocktails or beers, on the wine/alcohol list, but wine seems quite expensive. Our Server, Lyndsey, was patient with our many questions about the menu and checked regularly that all was satisfactory. We were surprised that the restaurant wasn't very busy, but were advised to book for weekends. The kitchen closes at 8pm on weekdays and 9pm on Saturdays and is closed on Mondays. We are visitors to Kingsville and this is definitely the best food and service we've had so far. Would we go back? -- Definitely!"
