"After I had been happy to travel to some of the best restaurants in the world, I could save the airfare and just come back to la banane service was great and very engaged with the chefs who present the food. execution was immaculate, we ate family style and...behave the cook to feed us and did them, the euro bass en croute fish and rib steak were perfectly cooked, but each cure was excellent, miss the mushrooms and skallops. it was hard, but we managed to fit into the banana cake and it was good worth the discomfort. we felt like it was a celebration I appreciate, but it was a solid food and service! well-made team and looking forward to my return. Michelin stars call!"

"I happened upon this restaurant by accident while waiting for the launch of Mosaïqueproject.com in The Music Room and lucky me. Everything was outstanding including the classic refined decor, experienced passionate staff, and outstanding eatables. Definitely a place to return to on future trips to...Toronto."

"I would not hesitate to recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking a fine dining experience. This meal surpassed anything we’ve had in the last two years: just prior to the pandemic, we travelled to and ate superbly in Melbourne and Penang, Malaysia; our meal at El Tenedor surpassed those meals and anything we’ve had since. We shared two appetizers, one based on scallops and the other using smoked salmon; each was absolutely delicious, w a variety of tasty ingredients, all very flavourful since organic ingredients are typically used. For mains, I enjoyed fish in papillote while my meat-loving spouse savoured his delicious short ribs with a happy smile. There were not a lot of choices, but options did include seafood or fish, vegetarian and the aforementioned red meat treat. Chef Cesar recommended the wine…a full-bodied, balanced Italian that was so delicious….we’ve never had a tastier Primitivo (we drank two bottles lol). Chef surprised us with a special dessert when he heard it was our 28th wedding anniversary. There were only 3 tables being served that night; it was just like a little bistro in the Pyrenees. Our honeymoon was in France. This meal brought us back there. El Tenedor has a little patio where pooches can join but air conditioning seemed to exhaust onto it, making it feel like the south of Spain. We hope to return again soon for another special occasion."

"Good Evening x, I guess when the say the first time is always the best experience, they are definitely right. I visited Victor Restaurant three weeks ago, and was treated like gold by Stephanie (I think that is her name- an older caucausian lady). The food was awesome, the ambiance was great and although, Stephanie forgot to charge me for the wine (which I did take notice and made sure I paid before I left) she did a fantastic job. I was so intrigued by how great the food and service was that I decided to skip out on the original restaurant I was going to have my birthday dinner at, and have it at Victor Restaurant. I ranted and raved how awesome the service was to everyone attending but, boy was I wrong.Fast forward to this past Saturday, my guests were NOT impressed. However, I wasn’t aware until I received an unprofessional email titled “ WALK OUT” from Ellen P (the social coordinator) Apparently, one of my guests had walked out on their bill and I was left to pay for them. Well, according to the email from Ellen that was the situation. I panicked as I knew, none of my friends would ever be so disrespectful. I sent out a text to all, when one mentioned she had left her Visa on the table to take pictures outside as the SERVER WAS TAKING SO LONG. She did plan on coming back in, however, the Server started packing up and she forgot to pick her card up and pay. 1) she left her card on the table (nowhere in the unpleasant email from email did it state there was a found card) but, she did mention to me that the server – didn’t know who didn’t pay their bill and that’s all she can help with. Now, any regular server would’ve kept track of who was at the table and who ate what. ( I have friend’s in the business who have mentioned this to me) I also received a complaint that the server accidentally brought out fries instead of Mac n Cheese for one guest. The service was QUITE SLOW – yes, I’m aware there was a party of 15 behind us but, that is no excuse. 9/20 of my guests did NOT enjoy their food. (whether it was cold, or not cooked properly) Also, I had emailed Ellen asking to speak with the Manager and was told by her, she was the manager (let’s just say I assumed that was incorrect as per her title) and contacted the restaurant when I was told, she actually wasn’t the Manager. I then requested a callback from the Owner — which I’m still waiting on . Ellen responded to my email – you can email him. If a customer asks for a callback – rest assure, they want a callback not an email. I also had a friend who had a bill over $200 and she even told me herself, the server was taking so long to take payment, she could’ve walked out but, of course we are not those kind of people. (but you couldn’t tell by the email I received from Ellen).Another guest, had to ask 5 times to have her bill given to her. I’m rather perturbed at the events that took place and the accusation of someone purposely walking out on their bill. Least to say, the female who had let her Visa on the table- had to continuously call the restaurant before she got an answer about her credit card and whether, she paid or not. Unprofessional and definitely disrespectful. Looks like I will not be visiting Victor Restaurant again – do so at your own discretion."

"Exception find! Delightful food and unique (yet simple) menu, flexible with requests and the service extended by Monique was casual and she guided us with recommendation. Not pretentious and felt high end. Value! I always check the restrooms for cleanliness and sure enough-spotless! I found this gem (slightly off the beaten path) on OT and opted for different instead of the standard 5 star restaurants. My friends were impressed I selected Mo Mo's as I am not from the city and rolled the dice. We won and left highly satisfied without breaking the bank."
