"As the current COVID-19 pandemic is currently in full swing my family and i thought it was time to support a local business' however when being delivered the service and quality of food from the Metropolitan we were very dissapointed. the food tasted great but...the presentation was not appealing at all. That wasnt the worst of it, the guy i spoke to on the phone was exceptionally rude he didn't even give me his name when he answered which I thought was disrespectful and unprofessional. Overall it was a very disheartening experience being in the current pandemic the world is in my family were supporting local businesses' and usually wouldnt order here but went out on a limb and we have been highly dissatisfied."

"Very very good. Nice building, tasty food and not expensive. Plus they are open on Mondays unlike most other restaurants around the place all closed until Tues or Wednesday. That's no way to run a business. Definitely we will be back."

"Had an anniversary meal with the folks. The veal shank was dried out and had a terrible burnt taste and the vegies were over cooked and burnt, the shank was all bone and fat. I had the eye fillet and chips, $20 with no vegies...and soggy chips. Asked for medium rare and got medium, not good enough. The other person at the table had the eye fillet wrapped around a prawn and the prawn had an off taste and the chips were terrible, and again no vegies for $20. We shall never go there again."

"I was a walk in on a Friday about 5.45pm and able to be seated at the last remaining table. Several others, one long one were reserved. It is obviously a popular venue. People coming and going with take away orders, obvious many had phoned them in. Other walk in's began queuing for when a table became vacant. Having to stand, and with waiting times, few were seated during the time I had my single course meal of sweet and sour pork and fried rice. My meal was excellent. Reasonable menu, and of course dumplings are their speciality. I've heard others speak highly of dumplings. I'd rate it 5 if it was not such a small venue. I was seated close to the ordering and take away counter, obviously the last table they allocate, which was less than ideal. But I'll be back."
