"We loved everything about this experience. The food was fabulous, there were 2 3 different meat options and I think I counted 16 (yes 16!! veggie options. I thought the fried chicken was better than The Pink House (yes, I was there the day before Mrs Wilkes I'm on a diet now and my dining partner couldn't get enough of the beef stew. Everything was fresh, hot and plentiful you will not go home hungry. We met some friendly folks in line which made the perfunctory 60 minute wait seem like 5 minutes. Grandson Ryon's doing a great job keeping up the traditions at Mrs Wilkes I really felt like I was going back in time with the family style service, a table of ten strangers and all the memorabilia on the walls. Yes, it's worth the wait,"

"Really good. More food than I should eat. Very generous portions (family style dining). I tried to eat it all, but the food won, this time. I did manage to save some room for delicious peach cobbler. Rebekah was an outstanding server!"

"Being from Indiana, buffets are a thing of the past, so finding so many options in Savannah was thrilling. We picked this place because it reminded us of Old Country Buffet. For $16/person including a drink, the value was outstanding. As a bean and veggie lover, I was in heaven. The cabbage, lima beans, tomato/okra stew and fried ribs were definitely my fav. Im not a sweet eater but there was an ice cream machine and lots of other dessert options. The service was impeccable...everyone was kind and attentive."
