"I'm happy I live on the hill. I'm walking to all St Louis' great Italian restaurants. Next to me, what a mixed blessing is because, how tasty and close it is Joe Fassi 's. I say mixed because I want to eat there every day! And I came a few times near. It is not a far enough to go to balance the calories! What can I say... their sandwiches are so. Loves the poor boy, the hot salami, the meatball and so many others. Good. Last week I changed things and ordered a pasta with Italian sausage....wow. I disappeared. I would like this pasta against any of the chic Italian restaurants on the hill. Just delicate and tasty. Now it becomes even more difficult to stay away!! I love Joe Fassi."

"I haven't eaten here for years and met a friend for lunch. Had the Vito Special and it was not disappointed! Ham and roast beef sandwich on cheese garlic bread with a delicious side salad. All for $11, you can't go wrong with it!"

"I grew up in STL in the 70s, 80s and 90s. My mom used to bring the sandwiches home from work occasionally and I even took college friends there to experience what I considered the best sandwiches anywhere.Are there for the first time in about 5+ years and something changed. The bread wasn't crunchy (very soft) which changed the entire experience.Parents told me ownership changed and I was very disappointed. Definitely not the place I remember."

"Got a meatball parm and the big cheese panini. The meatball parm was surprisingly good for a place that doesn?t have a pizza oven. Meatballs were good, the bread was fresh and soft and the sause was sweet. The big cheese panini wasn?t done fully so most of the cheese wasn?t melted. Probably wouldn?t get that sandwich again."

"This location is in the heart of The Hill in St. Louis. Their menu has a lot of variety. Sandwiches, pasta, salads, and a full bar. It reminded me of a local tavern that everyone in the neighborhood goes and hangs out at. I ordered the Roast Beef sandwich, make sure to get it on the garlic cheese bread, it?s so good. Their onion rings were homemade. We got a sample platter before our lunch arrived and all the items where amazing. Would definitely go back and eat here again."
