"We were booked in as a group of 14 with only one or two wait staff but they coped very well. The menu was quite large for a small pub. The dishes were standard fare but all were well prepared, delivered quickly and largely together (not easy for a large group but greatly appreciated). Most of our group were very happy with our burgers, salads and fajitas. The staff were good humoured and polite throughout. No complaints here and we’d go back for sure"

"Superb food, friendly and intelligent service. Great kids' menu! Some of the mains could have been larger, as could the salad (that was supposed to be shareable but wasn't), but some items were not charged for, so 5 stars it is!"

"I love Waitrose, love the bakery, get on well with the staff. The only reason I don’t give 5 spots is because it’s often short staffed. Mostly I get around this by self scanning but nowadays I even have to queue for the self scan some days. And heaven forbid if you ever have to have a re-scan, don’t let them do it, just delete the transaction queue up again because it will be quicker!"

"The meals and service are great but dogs are only allowed in the bar area (which is fine) BUT you can’t book a table not even the table for 12 so we had to arrive 3/4 hour early to get this table for our party of 12 plus 4 dogs!"

"I take back everything, it's a nice place, as my last review the presentation of the staff seems dramatically honest to have changed a beautiful place and I think it's good how there are many youthful from the opposite, as there are many other young people feel welcome and will hopefully get them into the wonderful sport of the golf. the pool table is also good"

"It appears this cafe has deteriorated and not only is hot food not edible but the service provided is terrible. Senior staff are aggressive when feedback is given about the poor quality, and they are not interested in resolving complaints. If you go, and I'd recommend you don't, then eat the cold food at the moment they can just about get that right, but if you risk the hot food honestly don't waste your breath complaining the owner doesn't care about bad reviews and is not interested in keeping good paying customers. I've spoken to a few other people who have visited recently who have also experienced the rudeness and aggressive stance of some of the senior staff avoid this place and spend you're money somewhere they appreciate that you've worked hard to earn it"
