"Great staff within the garden centre, helpful and friendly. The cafe is hit and miss with grumpy staff and despite getting there in time for the cooked break, by the time I was served at 11.35 I was told we could not have one! Not very helpful or accommodating despite our being regular customers."

"After a 45 minute wait my chicken curry finally arrived and at £12 the very small portion was a total rip-off! The rice was a tad plasticy and one of my poppadoms was absolutely saturated in grease! The flavour and presentation were nothing special either."

"We stopped off during a family bike ride , had a browse in the lovely shop that sells such a variety of produce then had a coffee and homemade cake, delicious and welcoming ."

"I would like to thank them for thanking the watchman who saw my four-year-old granddaughter, who arranged as if they were going to let him in rest. he couldn't know that her granddaughter had just been running to the car or that I wasn't far behind her. he discovered them and left his position to follow and make sure that she was in order. Maybe it wasn't her. shhe could have lost. and both woke were vigilant and ready to jump in action. Thank you."

"Its a really good place to walk beside the river and the cafe is located at a car park to a useful end to a good walk. It also has an information centre. The cafe is a cafe with food and drinks to choose from and meets the term average cafe. It does have outside seating for good weather and the staff were fine."

"Vibrant atmosphere, friendly service, food mainly OK but my custard tart dessert was by some way the worst plate of food I’ve ever been given! About 3 inches across and barely half an inch deep, the vertical part of the pastry tart was hard. The bottom tasted uncooked. The thin layer of custard was solid and rubbery. My choice was influenced by ‘rhubarb infused with grenadine’. Not a piece of the fruit in sight just a dozen or so gelatinous blobs of pinkish gloop spotted round the plate. DREADFUL!"
