"We happened here by chance and so glad we did. After our first meal, we returned twice more and plan to visit our next time to PEI. The food is fresh and delicious, made with local produce. Nice to know that there isn't even a fryer in the kitchen! It is a true family restaurant with caring owners."

"I went to The Thistle on a Saturday for supper with my family. I havent been there in years. The front staff were friendly, acknowledge our presence and had us seated at a table in no time. Our waitress was excellent!! She had our drinks...and order in quickly!! And what can I say about the food...it was Amazing!! Im glad I went back to a place I havent been in years..I wasnt disappointed!! "

"Disappointed in pizza. I have never had a pizza that had no sauce of any sort. It made the pizza very bland. We ordered a large pizza half veggie and half works. It had lots of ingredients which were very fresh and it had too many veggies as it was sliding off pizza. It had no pizza sauce at all . I don't know if that is their way of making pizza but it definitely needed some kind of sauce. It was thumbs down for us. I would not recommend this place"

"The Gouda is wonderful. I recommended the fenugreek, but there are lots of good flavours. The cheese biscuits were good.The pizza was okay. The cinnamon buns were very dry. Don’t rush over on a Saturday morning just because it says they sell out fast. You’re better to go to the Fox’s Den for cinnamon buns."

"Always go to Mings, but they were closed Monday night. We decided to try Joe Chows. There were 5 of us, not much seating room, but we waited. We all ordered various combination plates and egg rolls. I had the one with spare ribs. Every one was very satisfied with their dining experience, the food was excellant and ample portions. 5 guys and no complaints - very good. (Not Lisenced - minor)"

"Donair Meat was extremely dried out, overcooked. Told the waitress and assumed she would adjust the bill. than of the Donair was left on the plate as it just was too hard to chew. Asked for the manager when we went to pay...the bill. The manager said we should have been offered to have the meal replaced. The waitress lied and said she offered but she did not, she lied and as a result no tip from all four of us."
