"My husband and I were visiting Elkins for his birthday. We wanted to celebrate the evening with a quiet dinner. This was the perfect place. The food was delicious and our server was the sweetest person. She had worked there for over 4 decades and was very charming. She helped us decide what was good and then even talked husband into dessert. Will visit again."

"Love eat here. Always seem to get the same things there, but they have a lot to choose. Ducks can't take home what remains on the yaw plate. But I understand why they have this rule. But can never finish my record."

"Omg this place was absolutely amazing. The food was amazing. Denise and her sons. I told her we were for a baseball tournament from NW Indiana. The best smoked food I had in a very long time. The landscape design was also amazing. Denise said she did everything herself. Swear, if I would come to visit or just go through, I will definitely stop there for a few great foods."

"Kudos Sakura! The best choice is the Tempura Shrimp Bento Box for a sitting meal. The shrimps are delicious and HUGE! You have a beautiful side of squash, zucchini, and also an onion ring in the box, which is perfect and not over power the meal and much more. I recommend the crazy girl role (including Eel and Avacado with a surprising crunch) and the traditional Californian roles. When you go and wait, it is fun to watch the chefs, the meals at the window so fast behind the glass in the register. When you call and pick up the waiting is about 20 minutes on average or less. Sit in this restaurant is a great experience; their are beautiful paper screens that are currently hanging as decorations (very minimalist) and the Wait Staff is fabulous, attentive and fast. You always have steamers available if you like them. There is no current children's menu (which would be a good idea to add), so you need to be creative to order when taking children. There are about 10 comfortable stands and a few additional tables and chairs in the middle, which would be well suited for larger meetings. I don't know if they did this before the pandemic, but if they set up the restaurant, so that the chefs will be prepared at the meal (on the table), I think they would have a complete house ALL the time. I think people would pay more to experience this at a meal, I would. The food portions are currently so large for such a low price and the presentation is very pleasant to the eye. There are always remains for another meal. Also, Morgan did a great job as a waitress at the last visit. Kudos Sakura!"
