"This is one of the best restaurants, in my opinion, in Montreal. Parking is very tough but well worth the time. There are a few public lots within walking distance. Take advantage of them. The service is impeccable. The food is beautifully presented and delicious. We started with the appetizers of fried calamari and beef tartar. The calamari was lightly battered and crunchy with the inside perfectly tender. Beef tartar is not one of my faves but it was really fresh and tasty. We then had the hanger steak with fries and one of the daily specials of duck breast. Both were cooked to perfection and delicious. No dessert was required. We were too full but there is a great selection available. Reservations are a must. A definite Do Not Miss."

"Idéal pour un party de famille avec une belle grande terrasse , ce bistro , apportez votre vin , nous a comblés au delà de nos attentes . Première visite mais ce ne sera pas la dernière . Grand choix de cuisine à tendance méditerranéenne ....... accueil chaleureux ,service professionnel et serveurs qui connaissent bien leur menu ....... pas besoin de feuille de notes ou d'aller voir le chef pour savoir la composition des plats . Je vous recommande le foie gras au torchon fait maison avec chutney de figues ..... un pure délice . Tout est délicieux , frais , chaud ( ce qui est normal mais pas toujours le cas ) . Parfait pour tous le goûts ..... poisson .... braisé ...... plats végétariens ...... à la carte ou en table d'hôte ...."

"This restaurant offers à la carte, but also 3 menu combinations for $29, $39 or $49 a very reasonable price considering the quality of the food. We were there on a Tuesday night in October, and the night of the Canadian's first game of the season so the place was almost empty! We had impeccable service and enjoyed the food very much. Oysters, soup, deer meat and even the desserts were very well prepared and tasty. Definitely recommend this place."

"Cold gazpacho restored our HP on an oppressively hot day. Great sandwiches too--they look huge but the bread is light and fluffy. Really filling, but fresh and light, and doesn't leave you feeling weighed down. The outside area's a great spot to chill."

"I am a big fan of this restaurant. Always great service, great food, and a good time. Love the guacamole, shrimp poke bowl, and tuna poke bowl.I have visited both locations (Old Montreal and Beaver Hall) and have had great experiences at each of them. The location on Beaver Hall is a probably a better choice in the summer because you can dine on the terrace and enjoy the sunshine.Highly recommended!"
