"We just popped in tonight with family to celebrate our son's 11th birthday. The staff was amazing, service was great, pizza was good, and the games brought back my childhood!! We were a little apprehensive because neither I or my husband had been to Happy Joe's since we were kids ourselves, but it exceeded all expectations! Great place for a birthday party or family night out! Thank you!"

"I stopped here on my way through Fargo for a quick lunch. I like soup, so that is what I had. Tomato basil. It was fresh, with lots of chunky bits of tomato in it, delicious. Well done, I will be back!"

"As soon as I said I wanted a waffle, the person behind the counter nearly cut me off saying how it would take 30-40 minutes for the waffles. She seemed almost annoyed with us? Like annoyed we were even there? Anyway, a cursory glance at the menu would reveal that waffles are all they serve. It takes me 3 minutes to make a waffle at home, so I don't understand how it could take that long to make a waffle. We order anyway, as well as order some drinks. It takes thirty minutes for our drinks to come, and they're both wrong. We send them back, and the woman who took our order walks up to us and tells us that the receipt was wrong and we weren't charged for both of our drinks, then stands there, waiting for us to pay for it despite her who messed up our order. After a full hour, the food finally arrives and it was fine. A very average waffle. It tasted fine, all the toppings were on it. Shouldn't have taken an hour. Shouldn't have cost more than $10. I looked at the counter and thought that they must be short staffed... nope, they had more than enough people to be running an efficient coffee bar, and had even more people in the back with the waffles. I even saw in the back they have like 8 waffle irons. Then, after all of that, they expected us to bus our own table. We did not.I really hate to sound like a Karen but this was one of the worst experiences I've ever had at a restaurant. I have no idea what the problem is, but if I were the owner or manger, I'd be embarrassed."

"Absolutely amazing. eating has few equivalents and the service is great. always a new menu and every dish I had is charming and unique. when finished, they cross the cheese and get some chic cheese, bred meat and fresh eggs on the farm. the atmosphere is difficult to explain, but it is the perfect net of gourmet, farm too table, imaginative casual and local flair all in a package. I can't think of a better place you're heading on, and you're going to hit a quiet social. her chef ryan is also a great guy."
