"Collected so no issues with slow delivery as mentioned in other reviews. Burgers are made to order so probably a 20 min wait on a busy Saturday evening. First visit so we had the Meal Deal with a Tower (chicken and a Mexican (hot! . Chips, onion rings and drinks included. Great sauces, great value, especially with discount (they do student and NHS . Oh, and the burgers were delicious. Still hot after a 5 mile drive which is unusual. Delivery would have been 2.99 so I guess we 'll be ordering very soon but allowing them time to cook them from scratch! And the staff? So friendly! The owner/manager engaged with me while I was waiting, I was addressed by name when it was ready and I was spoken to throughout my wait, being told about other items on the menu, the loyalty card, the app etc etc. To summarise, if you want fast food, go to Mcdonald 's, if you want fresh, tasty burgers made from scratch in front of you by friendly staff then Smoque is your destination of choice."

"I took my friend for lunch at the Bolney Stage , from the moment we walked through the door all the staff were polite attentive and very knowledgeable about the menu . The food was served quickly and was utterly delicious. We opted for the mini pudding and coffee . The crème brûlée was amazing! Thank you"

"Friendly welcome, basic tasty food at reasonable prices and pleasant garden area. Nice touch is reductions on main meals for senior citizens. Helpful bar staff. Good to see three vegetarian options on the menu."

"The man serving was overbearing, aggressive and rude, as others have found. He has obviously not grasped the concept of customer service. The cake was tasteless and dry, a point he agreed with when I pointed it out. The tea was served in a pot...labelled Tea Pigs but it most certainly wasn't it was cheap and flavourless. I asked for a glass of water and was refused, despite the fact that my partner and I had both bought drinks. When I used the WC I was appalled to find that the only means of drying my hands was a cotton towel a terrible idea in a pandemic. No doubt the owner will write an ascerbic reply to this, but, instead of an enjoyable visit, this outing spoiled my and my partner's afternoon."

"We stopped off for breakfast and coffee. Very friendly service, lovely bright and clean. The breakfast was delicious and the coffee is probably the best I have had, would highly recommend"
