"Hubbie and I visited last week ..felt welcome as soon as we got in and bar man came to our table to advise the cocktail of the day which I picked and it was lovely Food was fantastic I had the seafood sarter which was lovely and then the beef burger which I couldnt finish as a huge portion and hubbie got the antipasti to start which again was a plateful of meats and he then had mixed grill which he said was fantastic . staff are very helpful and intentive. Another meal enjoyed"

"The ordered takeaway here and eating saw great service and gathering time was spot on but my got the salt and chiliries had so much salt or mosg on them she felt it burns the inner of the mouth, and to the spoiled all the others. food that we ordered as all u taste was salt! also the chicken on the pink side went into the satay spits, but to note that the chicken curry was not the worse,as due to the taste of the chips that I previously, real shame, can only observe what they order, how for me spoiled the meal would like to say better but not at the next time."

"Called into the Wallace tea rooms for a bite of lunch during a quick visit to Lanark. Fairly good menu and decided to go for the soup which was excellent, very tasty. Followed that up with coffee and home baked cake. The selection of cakes is terrific. Next time you are in Lanark you should definitely pop in. Recommended!"

"It was a hot day and i was late arriving back from the beach, i thought i'd be lucky to get anything savoury which i really wanted so late now around 3pm and with the Covid 19 yet they kindly obliged with a generous Crab salad gluten free so i didn't want bread) Ordered through the window and delivered to a distant table complete with a brown paper bag for me to take away any rubbish. All very well organised and presented. Thank you"
