"Probably the best roast I’ve had out. Perfectly cooked pork belly and beef, perfect roast potatoes, beautifully tasting red cabbage, lovely heritage carrots, tasty cauliflower cheese and the most wonderful gravy. Something green would’ve been good but extremely tasty and a good portion size nonetheless....Lovely surroundings and helpful friendly staff. Will definitely return and highly recommend"

"Service was terrible staff did not seem to care at all, just stood around chatting, could not be bothered to wait on the tables or bring cutlery over, made me wait till food was delivered before bringing a glass over will not be using again. No wonder there was only three other people in the place on a Friday lunchtime !!"

"We visited little ships restaurant and I must say that we both had a very pleasant meal. it was a warm evening, so we sat out to eat our meal. we were greeted and informed about the protocol re covid. then the waiter came back after he had given us a little while to relax. the menu itself was extensive enough to ensure a wide range of gaumen. we ordered the fish and chips that were fresh cod and wonderful cooked crispy and yet fluffy medium chips. it was nicely plated, the fish was a good size and everything went quite well. we shared a dessert that was a doughnut, stuffed with an ice cream flavor of a selection given and with tiny marshmallows. Well, what I can do, we enjoyed it too. it was a wonderful meal, the staff was friendly, fast service, clean facilities and we would definitely return for another meal."

"We came here on a damp October Friday night. Were met by the very welcoming and polite owner, we were the only customers. Another table came in a bit later and were given the same friendly welcome. She chatted to us and made us feel very comfortable, as a vegan so nice to have a variety of choices on the menu. A lovely building, so much to look at inside. I chose the vegan moussaka, so tasty and made freshly. My partner had the lamb dish, which he enjoyed, it was a little fatty, as it can be, but he was then given a complimentary dessert, even though this was of no fault of the owner. Amazing food and hospitality all be one person. Highly recommend."

"Not bad food ,quite expensive for what it is ,over £82 ,no starters ,no alcohol ,my wife and I with 2 grand children under 11 and when paying ,said would you like to leave a tip ,I usually do ,but didn't like this so didn't ,not much atmosphere to be fair ,will be first and last time here !"
