"I arranged to meet friends here as I was due to be in the area. I hadn't been in this particular establishment for around 15 years. I was very glad to see that it had changed considerably for the better. The staff were very friendly and chatty. There were 3 beers on pump, including Harvey's, which was well kept. My friends are regulars and exchanged a good amount of cheery banter with the staff, who were putting up the Christmas decorations. According to my friends, there are frequent music events as well. All in all, a friendly local pub. One small complaint is that, during the week, they close at 3, which did rather dampen the occasion"

"My partner and I popped in for a quick drink and ended up staying for hours playing guess who and drinking mulled wine! The pub is super festive and bar staff are so lovely. Milly made us feel so welcomed and was always smiling! Will be coming again next weekend for sure"
