"We had regular breakfast and always enjoyed our food at P&W. On this day the eggs were cold, bread tasted stale and bacon was not deep fried. It all tasted like dog food…my dog would not have eaten it. I had one mouth full and...I complained and we left, never to return. $50! Pig food! Don’t eat there! Unless they offer refund. Spoiled our morning."

"I had the roast pumpkin special for my main and a chocolate fondant for dessert. I really enjoyed my main meal the most, the flavours complimented each other so well, perfect size and I couldn't get enough! The dessert was very rich and came with blueberries and strawberries. Will certainly come back again with friends next week. :)

"Excellent Sunday roast dinner for $12. Generous serving of chef's choice of meat, roast potato, pumpkin, peas, carrot and Yorkshire pudding. Absolutely scrumptious. Oooh and the gravy can't forget the gravy. The staff are lovely, friendly and smiley."

"One of my go-tos at south bank. good portion sizes for a reasonable price, and I was never disappointed by the quality of the last meal visit was before a show at qpac and we got our eating fast. my nana said her lambskin had a little more taste. my chicken carving burger was great, but the $3 add on for a few average chips was a little disappointing."

"I often stay at the lovely Oaks on Margaret above this bistro so often grab a quick breakfast or dinner here. I has the "small" breakfast last Friday and it wasn't that at all! Great eggs, sausage, loads of bacon toast and grilled tomato-all for $11.95. Other treats are the eggs benedict though you can go a little more healthy if you can resist temptation! At night I will grab a steak and glass of red wine-always excellent steak with veges and great value. The Beef and Guinness pie is a favourite of my occasional guests and they do an excellent chicken mignon. I agree with other travellers it is not an extensive menu but it covers a good range, is quick and friendly and suits the person travelling for work who doesn't want an event just a great dinner"
