"We went to see a friend play music and while there we had drinks and pizzas. The pizzas are good but definitely personal size unless you are just looking for a nibble to share. Nice decor but some of the chairs could use some repairs as the back of my wife's kept falling apart making for an uncomfortable visit after a while."

"Great local pub. Reasonable beer prices and nice bar staff. Food is always great ! Was there on 2 recent occasions for live music, sound was good but the only thing I could flaw was the poor lighting both times. Was very hard to see the artists. (yes, i'm a photographer so I will be extra critical of lighting). Overall, a great place !"

"Had it not been recommended by our B&B owner we may have walked by it is a very unassuming and low-key looking place. Not especially welcoming, from the outside. But once in the people are very friendly and it is clear this is a...local watering hole where everyone knows each other and the atmosphere is friendly and pleasant. Think of Cheers, only not very trendy. The usual beers on tap (but as a bonus they had Rolling Rock We had an evening meal, and the food was really very good. Might sound odd but the only negative about the meal was that there were too many fires a heap with our veggie wrap and cheeseburger. I would rather pay a dollar less and have half the fires. The meals were typically priced in the to range for sandwiches/burgers. Another small point on the con side was that it was warm too warm. There is no air conditioning and the few ceiling fans merely moved warm air, and slowly. But all in all I would return and I can recommend Stoneroads to you"

"I love this place!!! I am from out of town and my friends and I went there for dinner and drinks. The bartender was super friendly and provided exceptional service. The food was amazing!! We tried a couple of paninis like the meatball and the...philly steak! They were the best sandwiches we ever ate! To top it off they had a wide selection of beers on tap. I would recommend everyone trying out this place! Great food, cold beer and excellent service!! Definitely would visit again !!! :"

"Ordered liver with bacon and onions. Came with 2 large slices of very tender liver, crispy fried bacon and the most delicious mixture of yellow and green beans, broccoli and carrots along with a generous portion of mashed potatoes and gravy. No grease in sight!...Service was prompt and courteous. A little pricy but quality of food was worth it."

"Great bar for traditional English fair. Had their poutine and wings. Wings were amazing, the poutine was a little too salty. They did not need the sea salt with how amazing their gravy is. Everything was fast and the waitress was very helpful with answering all of our questions. I will be coming back again!"
