"Stuck in Mickey-land for a convention, a group of us were looking for a Sunday brunch spot. Oscar's at the Waldorf sounded like what we wanted and off we went. Although I'm not a lover of buffets, this one looked amazing, with more variety than usual, including a smoked salmon bar, prosciutto bar and honey dripping from a honeycomb! There were a lot of family's with kids, so it was a bit noisy, but that didn't really detract...everything the group of 4 tried, we loved. Only 2 things that were a little strange were that the cost of the buffet only included Mimosas, not Bloody Marys and there were no Eggs Benedict on the buffet??What impressed me most though was the commitment to making the customer happy. When I got to the salmon bar, it was empty, although two staff members I asked told me it would be restocked. When I mentioned it to our waiter, he came back and said they'd run out, which was disappointing. The manager came over an apologized, said they'd even sent over to the next door Hikton but they were out til Monday...not what I wanted to hear. 15 minutes later the manager appeared with a plate heaped with the best smoked salmon I've had in a long time....THAT is service."

"Lovely food and fairly fast. Service is adequate but you're there for the food. Tea leaf salad was a hit as were the onion fritters. Fish curry was very light on curry but still worth ordering"

"So enjoyed my birthday party Saturday evening with staci take care of us! it's always mine to sit in one of the Staci tables/boats because we have such a fun rapport with her! She knows our names, remembers our cocktails that we like, offers great suggestions for appetizers and entrees, and makes our culinary experience wonderful! we had the hummus again, so delicious! I enjoyed my two lavender lemongrass martinis, then the ruby red trout entree it was so delicious! staci made suggestions for my birthday dessert and we went with the warm apple cruci with vanilla ice cream, it was divine! another great culinary experience in tavern! thank staci for my birthday dinner speciality!"

"I didn't know this place existed, but I found him randomly and glad I did. I had the fish and chips and it was delicious. Fries fresh and hot and the fish was a generous portion roasted beautiful and tasted great. they also had malt vinegar to go with what is excellent with fried fish. the best is the price."

"Four of us went for dinner, the large selection of fresh seafood continues to be good. The preparation and presentation of most of the entrees was very good but not excellent like it usually is. While everything tasted good, the fried shrimp was a little overdone, the cut of swordfish was thinner than usual, and the mixed grill was not plated in the same manner as usual. The service also was very good but just seemed not quite as outstanding. Maybe it was just an off day when we were there."
