"Decent pub. Check your credit card receipts. They have a tendency to charge you more than its worth. They said it was a mistake but I don't believe them. How does £6.20 change into £19.20 accidentaly. When I challenged them they had no idea how to refund me. I spent around 1 hour trying to sort it out."

"Amazing staff, the lady and the two chaps that served us were incredible. Nothing was too much for them. The drinks and the food were great! And incredible value. The Irish barman asked me to present a rum cocktail (who was great). The lady who served us was so attentive! Total 10/10 for the entire service!! Thank you."

"Recently visited due to a delayed train. A lad came in to drop off his cv for work. The person behind the bar was pleasant enough to his face however once he left felt it funny to read out the cv to the customers at the bar. Highly inappropriate!! Blonde woman with pink tones and peircings. God forbid the chap wants to work."

"Me, my partner and our son came here for tea Monday evening, we had pre booked our table in anticipation of it being busy on the run up to Christmas. When we arrived it was really quiet, we got seated at our table and given the menus, 15 minutes went by and eventually a waitress came to take our drinks order, they arrived fairly quick but we were sat there for almost 30 minutes and our food order still hadn't been taken, so I asked a staff member if we could order food. I wouldn't mind if it was busy, I would of understood but when staff were stood around checking their phones and chatting, and there were only 2 other tables occupied, having to ask for someone to take our order is daft. Our food came, it was nice but nothing special, the prices don't reflect the dishes really. I ordered another drink during our meal, 20 minutes went past and still no drink, I asked a different member of staff about it, 10 more minutes passed and I has finished my meal, then the drink showed up. Overall we found that although the building and decor were lovely, welcoming and warming, the service was just not good enough and infant was very flat and slow. I don't think we will be returning in the future."
