"Lives locally and visited this pub during my childhood, but only recently began to frequent since joining the poker league every Wednesday. The Horseshoe is a cornerstone of Downend High Street and the local community as a whole, which has continued to strive and develop how many other local pubs have closed. A beautiful welcoming environment with friendly staff and a high standard of presentation, without getting too far from a place you could call your locals. A beautiful selection of beverages from breweries on site and in the distance, a series of purses and tasteful friendly pints, excellent quality food for the price. Make sure you visit this place to keep it!"

"Two meals on the menu unavailable so chose burgers which were sat under a heat lamp while are other meals were being prepared the burgers were so hard had to send them back 2 other people had chicken which was tasteless did not have dessert just wanted to leave staff not friendly"
