"After finding a place to moor we visited the pub in search of dinner. Despite not offering food that day we were made to feel very welcome and offered a range of takeaway menus. Plates cutlery napkins and placemats also part of the service. A lovely welcome and good beer to accompany our pizza/indian selections!"

"Went for a dinner on A Friday night better to book in advance for high demand days). The service was great so as food: really enjoyed the beef pie and desserts. Chicken schnitzel was ok nothing wrong- just a normal chicken schnitzel). Want to come back for breakfast. Not too expensive and good food and service."

"Went early on Saturday evening, the owner was very friendly , my partner and myself were both impressed with the quality and presentation of the food. We had pate and garlic mushrooms for starter which weee both homemade and lovely. My partner chose Steak for his main which was tender and cooked perfectly, accompanied by chips and all the trimmings. I had the lamb shank with mash and fresh vegetables which was absolutely delicious ! Looking forward to returning for the Sunday lunch sometime soon."
