"We have been on the ferry several times, since ali, keith team has taken over and we had a delicious meal each time and a very pleasant culinary experience. it is not just the food and service that has been turned around since its arrival. the place has a beautiful energy and ambiente that has been missing for years. so pleased that the ferry enjoys a much needed and much welcomed revival!"

"Absolutely fantastic Holts family pub. Huge beer garden with seating for everyone, outdoor bar service, friendly staff and locals. Great atmosphere, with lovely decor inside the pub. Modern with a twist of vintage. Very clean and tidy. Toilets are cleaned regularly and smell nice. Prices are reasonable and drinks are probably the best kept out of any Holts pub I've ever been in. Lovely friendly landlady/landlords, great location to the town centre and high street. Recently and weather dependent carboot sale on the first Sunday of the month, starting at 11am. £10 per pitch and all proceeds go to charity. Could be a great carboot/market once word gets around. 10/10 pub for sure. Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly but please keep them supervised at all times, there's a very busy main road at the front. Parking: Generous amount of parking spaces. Wheelchair accessibility: All parts of the pub have wheelchair access. Very disabled friendly."

"Just wanted to say a massive thank you to Aoife for looking after our large group of 50 people Saturday at Mccooleys in concert square. Couldn't have gone any better ended up staying there a lot longer than we first anticipated as we enjoyed so much. Nothing was too much trouble for Aoife and she kept the drinks flowing for us all from 12pm-8pm. What a venue staff were great, brilliant atmosphere. All the boys enjoyed."
