"Perfect Mexican food restaurant in NW portland in my opinion. A no frills place serving authentic mexican fare in hearty portions, everything is freshly made and there is a huge variety for all taste palettes. The food is fresh and light, no unnecessary dumping of cheese and sauces. I tried the chicken tinga taco, tamales and garbacha bowl and it was all wonderful. A unique must-try item here is the butter nut squash filling with black sauce and chocolate. You can choose it with tacos, burritos, bowls etc. The vibes are super chill, pay first and then sit and relax, no one bothers you at all. The music is mellow , perfect for conversations. Highly recommended."

"Reasonably priced Mexican food. The service was very quick. They also have a self serve section for various sauces which are a must try! Tables are also self clean. Food was slightly above average but the price and portion, it’s a steal. Highly recommend if you’re craving good and cheap Mexican food!"

"My family has been going here since I was five and it's always been one of my favorites. Their rice and beans can't be beaten and their salsa used to be the best around but they changed it a bit and now it's just good. There is a specified bar area and then family dining. It is not cheap. Great atmosphere though."

"This place is hard to miss with it's shout out to you blue exterior. I arrived at 5pm on a Monday and drove around a couple of times before finding a parking space. Once inside, I thought it was a cute little eatery and after placing my order for a cueso appetizer, the brisket bowl and Horchata drink I was told that there was more seating upstairs which was a great thing as the music downstairs was a little too loud for comfort. Once I climbed the stairs with my order number in tow I was pleasantly surprised to find a lot of comfortable seating inside and additional seating outside on the patio. I reccomend this place to anyone in the mood for some Latin food and drinks in a comfy setting. The food was good, not extraordinary but I think the decor and ambiance is what really sells this place."
