"We were very excited to see Milka chocolate here, coming from NZ we find it hard to buy there. I went to take a photo to ask my daughters what flavour they would like, but before I even had my phone up, an old lady (presumably the owner) came running up demanding I put my phone away, pointed to a sign (that I had not seen) saying I can’t take a photo. I’m not entitled sure why this is, but perhaps she could have taken the time to find out why I wanted to take a photo? I would rather find my chocolate elsewhere than support such a rude business owner."

"This place was recommended by a local and didn't disappoint. A lovely little cafe in Main Street opposite the tourist information centre. Ambient setting, can sit in or outside or take away. owner was friendly and staff were great. Meals were delicious and fairly priced. I enjoyed my breakfast here."

"Waited 50 minutes for a gluten free burger for a child , which eventually came out after every one else’s meal and the table behind us received there meals (who ordered after us) as a beef patty between 2 slices of gluten free bread. Not happy"

"I love this place. Love the chocolate gingerbread (a lil weird at first but it grew quickly on me). Gingerbread latte was great too. I'd recommend this place to anyone visiting Hahndorf"

"This is my absolute favourite place to eat in Hahndorf. The owners and their staff are so kind. And if you want to go to a restaurant and cafe with your child/children or grandchild (like my husband and I) you are at the best place in the world. My granddaughter (18 months old) loves this place, too. First she always has to go to her friend, the rocking-horse, and then we share our delicious meal together. There are also puzzles and books for the little ones. If you don't find them, us the staff. They are always so friendly."

"Although very expensive this was the best Mocha I have had since travelling in Europe. The coffee was delicious and obviously the chocolate of very high quality. Even the coffee art on the top was done well. The setting is lovely as it is a very old building. The bathroom is spectacular with the old wrought iron door handle, stone walls and a beautiful stain glass window. Worth the price of the coffee!"
